CEO MESSAGE Driving Innovation from Japan through
Semiconductor Design

At Premo, our mission is to contribute to society through innovative semiconductor design technologies and to deliver new value from Japan to the world.

After the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the importance of semiconductor supply chains has once again come into focus worldwide. In Japan, efforts are underway to attract semiconductor factories and establish advanced fabrication plants. However, beyond manufacturing, it is essential to strengthen the area Japan has long struggled with —logic semiconductor design, including CPUs and SoCs.
Premo believes that design capability itself is the true source of competitiveness in the coming era, and that bringing this strength from Japan back to the world is our responsibility.

With our wireless connection technology, Dualibus, at the core of a new semiconductor architecture, Premo is redefining the structure of “connection.” By freeing chips from the constraints of substrates and wiring, we achieve smaller, more reliable, and more efficient devices. As AI and edge computing continue to advance, Premo envisions a world where computing exists closer to people —delivering computational power to the edge and contributing to global energy optimization. We aim to create a computing environment that is “always there” yet “unnoticed,” where people and the environment are naturally connected through information.

Premo strives to establish a strong global position as a semiconductor design company that proposes new forms of devices. We also bring cutting-edge technologies from Japanese universities into society, bridging academic innovation and real-world application. Moreover, we aim to create an environment where talented engineers and researchers can thrive and pursue their ideas freely.
Through our efforts to build a new hardware-centered ecosystem, Premo seeks to become a company that Japan —and the world— can be proud of.
